When you borrow a returnable RePlay container, you validate your card.  To avoid being charged, simply return the container within 4 weeks by scanning the QR code on its base at the smart bin in store. 

If the container is returned within 4 weeks, no money is taken from your card. 

If you return it after 4 weeks, you will be charged $3 per container.  

If the container is returned late, but within 6 months, you will get a partial refund. Refunds can only go back to the same card you used at the start, and cash refunds are not available. If your card payment doesn’t go through, we’ll try again. 

In order to obtain a receipt you will need the transaction number from your Visa or Mastercard credit/debit card statement.  

Note: Banks use proxy numbers on each device for tap transactions, so to retrieve your transaction, ensure you use the same device and transaction method: eg: if you used your mobile phone at the deli counter, retrieve your transaction via this, or if you used your Visa card, use this to retrieve your transaction details.
